Construction of oil production islands
In the northern part of the Caspian Sea, gas and oil reserves were discovered in 1998 and 1999. To ensure their operation, an artificial island measuring 225x225 m was created. Two underwater berms were also constructed. First was placed next to the main site, and the second in a completely isolated sea site at the depth of 8 meters.
This project in the Caspian Sea provided for the construction of two corridors. These corridors have the following characteristics: length - 450 and 550 meters, width - 20 meters.
Also after some time the construction of the island near the borehole and ice barricades will be completed. Once they are established, production and distribution of oil reserves can start.
